I'm really enjoying the website. Thanks. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend this year's reunion (ear infection prohibits my flying). Kudos to all the committee members who have worked so hard. It looks like a lot of great activities are planned.

Thanks for letting me know the details of the next Lakewood High reunion. I regret that it will not be possible for me to come. We will be traveling a lot this August – Spain, France, England and then to my sister in Connecticut for 2 weeks, all booked ages ago. We will be driving back from England to Spain in the 1st week of Sept. and I can’t really turn around and go back to the US after that.
After 25 years working as a teacher and psychologist for a charity for dyslexics in England, I retired with my husband to Spain where we have built a house in the mountains near Granada. We love the climate and being near Granada culture, and the skiing and the seaside. We rent our house during the summer if anyone is interested – www.losalisios.com.

We just returned to the US after 5 weeks in Alberta and British Columbia including a week on Vancouver Island. We're now in the area of Olympic National Park and Seattle. Having left home in Cape Coral on May 29th, we have seen a lot of interesting and beautiful places while traveling in our travel trailer.
Unfortunately...I will not be attending this years reunion which I will really miss. Please say hi to those who may know me and let them know that I hope to see them at our next reunion...or if they are in the Ft. Myers area of Florida to give me a call after October.

It’s Pat Wolff Schubert from New Canaan, CT. We’re up in Maine as we go every summer and usually stay until the end of October, but this year we’re going back in early September so I can have my left shoulder replaced. The reunion sounded like fun and I was thinking perhaps I’d be able to get there, butr not with the surgery planned for then. I’ve not been back to the Lakewood area since 1960 and know there must be a ton of changes.

I'm so sorry I can't make it this time to our 55th - a couple of medical issues are keeping me from attending. I am SO sad not to be there - so many folks I want to send hugs to!

I will be unable to attend our 55th reunion, but wish everyone a great time and many years of happiness and good health. I attended the 50th reunion in 2008 and it was superb, well-planned, and lots of fun!
